“MEYER WERFT is designing the crew areas itself for the first time. We have set our sights high for NYK Cruises. Sustainable & healthy crew areas are the future. The well-being of staff, who are often away for weeks at a time, can be significantly improved by designing allergy-friendly spaces. With in-house development and ECARF certification for allergy-friendly building, the shipyard wants to make the decisive difference and deliver future-oriented ships to the customer.”
Kathrin Eilermann, Architectural Accommodation (THA)
